The PCC (Parochial Church Council) is the executive committee of the parish and consists of clergy and churchwardens, together with representatives of the laity.
The Council is responsible for the financial affairs of the church, maintenance of the building and it’s contents and for promoting the mission of the church. All members of the PCC are Trustees of the church which is a registered charity. Meetings are held regularly, usually every 2 months.
A sub committee of the PCC is the Standing Committee who meet between PCC meetings. They consist of the Incumbent, churchwardens, PCC Secretary and Treasurer. They are able to transact the business of the Council between PCC meetings, subject to any directions given by the Council.
